I'm no stranger to Vietnamese cuisine as my 2 weeks food-tripping holidays in Hanoi and HCMC (Ho Chi Minh City) last year makes me personally grown to love and enjoy this cuisine and the myriad of fresh herbs, meat and selectively used of spices to reach a fine taste.

Sinful but delicious, everyone will definitely fall in love with the Chicken Fried Spring Rolls or Cha Gio (Gà). The filling is made from chicken, Taro, black fungus, carrots, Daikon, vermicelli wrapped in rice paper and deep-fried to crisp perfection.

Tasty bites filled with lots of fresh vegetables such as lettuce, cucumber, bean sprouts, pickled carrots, Daikon and vermicelli together with poached prawns wrapped delicately in the rice paper. Best eaten with peanut sauce.

I was amazed at the skill of the chef for he somehow was able to stuff lots of filling, tight and compact - wrapped perfectly in the thin rice paper without any of the ingredients falling down.

You’ll always find a big plate of greens with a mix of herbs to go with it.

Everyone loved this as it's got that irresistible crispy, yet delicate, golden-brown crust while the inside of the bánh xèo is filled with delicious flavours: chicken and prawns, and sprinklings of bean sprouts for the added crunch.
