TONG SHUI DESSERT STALL, HAPPY GARDEN PASAR MALAM AT TAMAN BUKIT INDAH KUALA LUMPUR

TONG SHUI DESSERT STALL
HAPPY GARDEN PASAR MALAM AT TAMAN BUKIT INDAH KUALA LUMPUR
Hi Everyone! Are you a fan of those tummy-warming Tong Shui or Sweet Dessert? Let's Auntie Lilly introduce one of the hidden gems - a Pasar Malam stall that been around for a long time that offers not only one of the most authentic Chinese Tong Shui around in the Klang Valley but also at a very reasonable or affordable price for all to savour!

TONG SHUI STALL
HAPPY GARDEN
SATURDAY PASAR MALAM
Jalan Nyaman 1
Taman Bukit Indah
58200 Kuala Lumpur

RM 2.80 Per Pack

My favourite Tong Shui from this Uncle is his full-of-flavour, a very delicious Sweet Peanut Cream Dessert or also known as 'Far Sang Wu' 花生糊 in Cantonese.  For me, this is by far of the tastiest I have ever tasted!

Let Check Out This Short Spontaneous Video I Took While Queueing

See How Long The Queue For The Tong Shui

For me, this the longest queue ever for dessert in a Pasar Malam stall. On every Saturday late afternoon his regular customers come in droves from near and far and the queue starts as early as 4pm and finishes after 1.5 hours; long even before the rest of night market vendors starts the business. Standing under the scorching sun on a hot Saturday afternoon is no fun but definitely worth the effort for yummy bowls of Peanut, Black Sesame or Almond Paste Dessert!

His 'Far Sang Wu' 花生糊 is a creamy and super smooth velvety texture with amazingly rich roasted peanut flavour. While I like my peanut paste creamy and smooth, I don’t like overly thick ones that somewhat stick to the throat when you swallow it so his version of the dessert is a slightly watered-down one.

For RM 2.20 (Eat-in) and RM 2.80 per packet, you get one of the tastiest sweet desserts from this decades-old Pasar Malam stall. The takeaway portion is quite generous and you can get two full rice bowls portion for 2 persons.

I have gotten my desserts on a Saturday afternoon at Taman Bukit Indah but fret not, you can find him around KL and PJ areas as he travels to several night markets throughout the whole week on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.
