Last week, I had the wonderful invitation to attend ANCHOR FOOD PROFESSIONALS official launch of their latest MOODMOJEE beverages campaign at Sala Bar, Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel. Following the success of its previous campaigns such as Say Cheese, PizzArt and Anchor Travel Cakes, Anchor Food Professionals returns to debut six new dairy beverages to boost your mood.

Moodmojee, The Icy-Cool Beverages To Boost Your Mood 

These beverages were conceptualized and created by Anchor Food Professionals chefs to showcase the delicious possibilities of dairy in beverages, bringing a sip of global trends to Malaysian consumers.

Debuting six new dairy icy-cool beverages to boost your mood, bringing a sip of global trends to Malaysian consumers. These six highly 'instagrammable' mood boosters dairy thirst-quenchers are the :

Designed as mood boosters, the range of beverages brings unexpected pairings aimed to delight taste buds. This year’s range promises pairings of zesty, sweet, savoury and salty flavours with creamy and smooth textures. Think of yuzu, pomegranate, mint, chocolate as some of the ingredients that will be paired and brought to life using the natural and fresh goodness of Anchor’s dairy.


Kayanika Fusion 
These six dairy thirst-quenchers include a Malaysian favourite that’s both whimsy and decadent –Kayanika Fusion – layers of sweet and creamy with traditional ‘kaya’, ‘gula melaka’, ‘pulut’ and red beans.

 
Kayanika Fusion created by Chef Firuz, bound to be a Malaysian favourite with the use of the all-time favourites ingredients with sweet and rich-tasting 'kaya', 'gula Melaka', creamy glutinious rice  'pulut' and red beans. Anchor whipping cream adds on the smooth and rich flavour to the sweet Kayanika Fusion, thus making it a very palatable drink to have especially when one craving for something fragrant and sweet.  

So when you are feeling down or stress, uplift your mood with layers of happiness with Kayanika Fusion - a sweet and creamy layering of traditional 'kaya', 'gula melaka', 'pulut hitam' and red beans.


Yuzu Chocolate Surprise
 
For all the chocolate lovers, a cool chocolatey drink created by Chef  Ichiro to tingle the taste buds with the unlikely pairing of Yuzu and chocolate. Yuzu is the secret ingredient! The tangy Yuzu puree tempers the rich chocolate in the Yuzu Chocolate Surprise which is rimmed with salt lemon cooling candy.

The Yuzu Chocolate Surprise was indeed a lovely surprise to the taste buds offering an interesting flavour with a mixture of iced chocolate with Yuzu puree and rimmed with salted lemon mint for the added kick!

So, when you craving for chocolate and an extra zing to your drink, go out and grab this Yuzu Chocolate Surprise. A therapeutic infusion of Yuzu honey, chocolate sauce, rimmed with salted lemon mint.


Pom & Grey Twist
The Pom & Grey Twist, created by Chef  Ken is a flavoured cheese tea is a refreshing concoction of mood-boosting Early Grey tea mixed with pomegranate syrup, topped with a generous layer of chocolate cream. 

A unique take on flavoured teas, Pom & Grey Twist is a lovely invigorating concoction of Earl Grey tea combined with sourish pomegranate syrup given the final act topping with chocolate cream and a dusting of cocoa powder.   


Lemon Mint Meringue
If you prefer something with a zing, the Lemon Mint Meringue, created by Chef Firuz is a rich lemon mint vanilla ice blended, topped with fresh meringue and slices of candied lemon and orange, is both a feast to the eyes and to the mouth.

Come check out this refreshing and zesty with Lemon Mint Meringue to 'egg-cite' your mood with a lemony mix - cool fresh wild mint and meringue with vanilla, zesty lemon juice and crunchy lemon biscuits.

Tangy Brew 
Tangy Brew, created by Chef Ken is rich cold brew coffee mixed with the tangy freshness of orange which explodes in your mouth followed by its satisfying mixture of cream and cheese foam. 

Coffee aficionados will be delighted upon first taste when sipping a surprise of zest from Tangy Brew. This awesome drink is bound to set your mood with a tangy bang, made from cold brew coffee with flame orange and a balance of wholesome cream.   


White Chocoffee 
 
Don’t be fooled by the appearance of the White Chocoffee which stands tall and proud like a shake with a crown of whipped cream. This sure-winner is a dreamy blend of white coffee mixed generously with delicious chocolate and peanut butter. 

Created by Chef Ichiro,  White Chocoffee is a creamy dose set to perk up your mood with a dreamy blend of fragrant white coffee infused with rich and delicious chocolate, covered with creamy peanut butter cheese toppings!

Creative non-alcoholic beverages are catching on in all the major culinary cities of the world. Asian-inspired cheese teas and speaking at its launch of the Moodmojee campaign, Jack Tan, Associate Foodservice Director of Anchor Food Professionals shared, “We understand the versatile role dairy can play in delivering great taste, texture and appearance in any form whether it’s in beverage or cakes. Dairy is traditionally very popular with Western markets but this time, we wanted to play with local ingredients to give it an overall Asian taste and feel.”

He added “We are always looking at what’s trending around the globe and strive to bring it back home to excite our business partners and ultimately, the taste buds of Malaysia. We have learnt that creativity and innovation are as important as taste to consumers these days.”


At the Moodmojee campaign launch, Anchor Food Professionals' Chef Firuz, Chef Ken and Chef Ichiro were present to demonstrate the preparation of not one but three Moodmojee beverages.

They showed us the steps-by-steps on how to prepare the Kayanika Fusion, Pom and Grey Twist and Yuzu Chocolate Surprise with the creative use of Anchor Dairy products such as Anchor Full Cream Milk, Anchor UHT Full Cream Milk, Anchor Cream Cheese and Anchor Whipping Cream.
