Counting down to a few more days to Chinese New Year 2018, I'm happy to share my Lou Sang No 11 reviewing my eleventh Chinese New Year Yee Sang at An Viet Vietnamese Restaurant that I have tasted recently. Restaurants and hotels have been creatively churning out new and exciting Yee Sang Menu to entice diners for this festive season.

I have my fair share of tasting a variety of Yee Sang from the traditional ones to Fruits Yee Sang, Grains and Seeds Yee Sang to the spicy Thai Yee Sang too. Now at An Viet Vietnamese Restaurant, they are pleased to present their 'Happiness Yee Sang', the symbolic dish for a good start ushering in the Lunar New Earth Dog Year 2018.

Staying true to Vietnamese cuisine that emphasizes fresh ingredients, An Viet's colourful 'Happiness Yee Sang' features fresh Sashimi-grade Salmon complemented with 100% natural fruits and vegetables, such as banana blossom, home-made pickle, radish, dried lotus seed, green mango, roasted peanut, water apple, carrot, pomelo, and lettuce.
Toss with our specially concocted Vietnamese inspired dressing infused with kaffir lime leaves for a wonderfully refreshing treat. The serving portion is good for 4-6 people and priced really affordable at only RM 39.90.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our early Lou San toss at An Viet. The serving portion was good enough my family of five. My daughter, Carmen likes the little-dried lotus seed for the crunchy texture while I find it to be extra healthy especially with the green mango, water apples, home-made pickle and banana blossoms lending an extra crunch to the guilt-free Yee Sang.
