As Malaysians, there is no denying that we love our shopping malls. Just look at the number of malls mushrooming every year and how crowded it can get, during the sales period. There is only one reason why it’s so crowded during the crazy sales period because Malaysians love shopping at a bargain. However, there are only a limited number of sales period during the year which is such a party pooper right? What if I told you that you can get bargains all year round on Japanese items of various variety?

Let me introduce you to the wonders of Jalan Jalan Japan, one of the biggest pre-loved stores selling items from Japan. Jalan Jalan Japan has two outlets, one in Sky Park in One City Mall and the other is in 1Shamelin, Cheras.

Huge In Size - Spacious & Organized

Both of these stores are extremely huge in size and their first outlet — Sky Park in One City Mall was closed for renovation previously has been recently reopened again! I had the opportunity to check the newly renovated store last weekend.

What I noticed during my visit there was there is now only one designated entrance and exit each, which meant that customers would enter and walk the whole outlet to exit the allocated area only. This improves the overall flow of the whole store.

As I entered the outlet, there were rows and rows of new display shelves where items have been categorically placed. This itself makes the whole shopping experience as you’re now able to browse similar items within the same area.

Preloved Clothes Section

The clothes area is now located on the lower level of the outlet and there are countless of rows of clothes, which much more spacious so there is a lot more room to browse through these clothes.

Fitting Rooms

The fitting rooms have also been relocated closer to the cashiers for security purposes since the cashiers and staffs can pay an extra attention to the fitting rooms should anything happen. The whole outlet has also fitted with new lighting, where it’s brighter and makes for a more comfortable shopping experience.

The video ends with a view of the lower level floor where the clothes are located at, alongside with other items. It’s best to see the newly renovated outlet for yourself and with your own eyes.
