High Octane Chefs

The Malaysia International Gastronomy Festival (MIGF) itself will take place from 1 st to 31st October 2016. During this time, Malaysia’s premier league of dining venues will serve special Festival Menus at very special Festival prices found only throughout the Festival month. Festival regulars will note that the “G” in MIGF used to stand for gourmet whereas today the initial stands for the far more all-encompassing Gastronomy.

“The word gastronomy reflects the evolution of the food scene in Kuala Lumpur,” says Dato’ Steve Day, Organising Chairman of MIGF and Taste MIGF. “When the Festival started 15 years ago, there were barely a dozen fine dining restaurants in KL and they were primarily based in hotels. Today we see hundreds of premium eateries all over the country serving every cuisine imaginable.”
