to show you exactly how these delicious authentic Thai cuisines are cooked.
I am honoured to be invited to their grand launch of RAMA V 1st Fine Thai Cookbook at their restaurant at Jalan U-Thant Kuala Lumpur recently. Consisting of 25 authentic recipes offering Malaysian food lovers a rare opportunity to cook and taste for themselves, right at the comfort of their home, exquisite and delicious Thai food that they have never tasted before.

RAMA V opened
in 1995, patrons have been enjoying this fine Thai cuisine in a bungalow setup
along the embassy enclaves in Jalan U-Thant, Kuala Lumpur.
In
2009, F&B entrepreneur Andre Shum and travel industry veteran Danny Jee,
took over the restaurant, refurbished the building and replaced the old
equipment. Armed with a new social media strategy; it proves to be a very
effectively way to target to a younger generation of customer to patronize the
restaurant.
For
those that have tasted the RAMA V dishes; one can really enjoyed the experience
of the flavours of the dishes which are prepared using traditional methods and natural
ingredients to retain its authenticity of its taste.
RAMA V
features authentic, yet innovative fine Thai cuisine while they seek to
preserve the best-old-age natural Thai flavours and traditions. Their
innovative chef cooks up a blend of authentic and modern dishes.
Each of these special dishes is presented as a feast not only for your palate but also for your eyes. Herbs and natural seasonings are used to create a variety of colours and sensations in taste that makes a meal at RAMA V memorable, exciting and enjoyable.

the duo have come up with a cookbook which contains mostly favourites and
popular dishes from RAMA V, which are part of their quests to ensure that the
flavours of RAMA V will not be lost or forgotten.
