With the Ramadan month just around the corner, Palm Garden Hotel and team is geared to serve our guests a delicious Ramadan buffet with offerings from our heritage thus being called Ramadan Warisan at IOI Resort City Putrajaya. The buffet will be available for all to enjoy from 18 June until 15 July 2015.

Executive Sous Chef Sim Hoong Sam and his team goes the extra mile to bring you flavours from Malaysia’s different ethnic cultures and traditions such as Ikan Sembilang Salai Masak Lemak, Cili Padi, Assam Pedas Squid with Ladies Fingers, Kam Heong Bamboo Clams, Udang Goreng Kandar, Roti Canai and Murtabak just to name a few.

Sought after favourites of Palm Garden Hotel, Kawah with Kari Kepala Ikan, a Malay traditional dish hoping to create a nostalgic feel for the diners.

Over at the soup section, diners can expect signature dishes in the daily buffet such as Soup Ekor served in a large wok or Kawah

To complement the Palm Garden Hotel - Ramadan Warisan Buffet spread,  several live action cooking stalls has been set up - be it the craving station or the grilling station - where diners will be able to see the chefs at work.

At the craving station, there will have a whole Roast Lamb every night and a chef, will be on hand, to crave the meat for guests.

Served With Babaganoush, Hummus, Yoghurt, Mint Sauce, Black Pepper Sauce and BBQ Sauce. Best eaten with lebanese breads and condiments of lime wedges, raita or lemon wedges.   

Besides roast lamb, diners will also be able to sample grilled whole-chicken on the rotisserie.

Also spread throughout the  Ramadan Warisan Buffet, there will be live cooking sections just like the stall concept, including ikan bakar, mamak stall, sharwarma stall, satay corner, fried noodles and the very special 'Middle East Selection' too.

Syawal Counter & Al-Murbarak Ramadhan served delicious lemang with beef and chicken rendang, nasi impit together with ketupat daun palas, peanuts sauce and serunding. Not forgetting also the savoury bubur lambuk with spicy chillies sauce.

Here at the Mamak Counter ~ to tickle the local taste buds, the flying bread aka roti canai will be served. Guests can also try the chef's famous roti boom, which looks like a compact roti canai but glazed with butter. Mini murtabak are served with dalca and chicken curry whereby seafood pasembor with condiments, peanuts and sweet potatoes sauce are offered.

Shawarma Counter offers chicken meat with tikka marinations served with hot dog buns. Condiments of shredded lettuce, slice tomatoes with mayo, chiili sauce and tomato sauce.

Selections of Gravy and Noodles with Condiments shall be served on daily buffet such as Curry Laksa, Prawn Gravy, Laksa Utara and Laksa Sarawak 

Main courses are balanced out with a variety of appetizers, ulam-ulam and complemented with the delightful dessert counter.

The dessert corner filled with 8 varieties of traditional Malay kuih is equally tantalising. Do leave room for refreshing agar-agar, jelly, pudding and the heartwarming pengat pisang, bubur pulut durian or bubur kacang hijau /  kacang merah.
