Raving About Mushroom Breakfast Brunch
Porto Bello offers Creative and Tasty Breakfast Set
Porto Bello at Damansara Uptown invited me and my foodies' friends for another round of food tasting recently. For this session, we sampled Porto Bello's Brunch Sets which are only available on weekends at the moment ~ Saturday, Sunday and public holidays till 5pm.
Diners have the choice to choose from Set A, B or C with the option of an add-on of RM 5 for any type of coffee. Synonymous with the cafe's name, the tasty Porto Bello mushroom or wild mushroom are incorporated in all three of their Brunch Sets.
Porto Bello Sunrise

The Crowd Favourite for the Day was Porto Bello Sunrise. Simply a wholesome fare of chicken ham with Bechamel Sauce resting on a big and juicy Porto Bello mushroom and topped with sunny-side-up. Served together with a choice of either turkey ham or streaky beef, garden fresh salad, hash brown and a cup of baked beans with melted mozzarella cheese toppings.
You will love the rich and pure flavour of the Bechamel sauce that goes so well with the chicken ham, Porto Bello mushroom and the runny egg yolk. It's also known as the white sauce is made from a roux and milk. It is one of the mother sauces of French cuisine and Italian cuisine. Truly a yummy and wholesome fare, thus it's an add-on list of Auntie Lilly's comfort food.
Volcano Surprise

Next was the Volcano Surprise, another wholesome Italian infused breakfast. Chicken Bolognese sandwiched in between juicy Porto Bello mushroom and sunny-side-up. Comes with a choice of either turkey ham or streaky beef, garden fresh salad, hash brown and a cup of baked beans with melted mozzarella cheese toppings.
An appetising breakkie to check out if you are a hardcore Bolognese sauce lovers. Tummy filling with ooey-gooey runny egg yolks, this is another lip-smacking bite to try.
Big Breakfast Set

Last was the Big Breakfast Set which comes with a total of 9 varieties of break-kie favourites such as premium German sausages, turkey ham or streaky beef, sauteed wild mushrooms (brown shimeji, white shimeji, shiitake mushroom, oyster and king oyster mushroom), roast tomatoes, hash brown, scrambled egg or sunny-side-up, baked beans, garden salad and wholemeal toast.
Diners can choose to have either Premium Beef or Vienna Chicken sausages with the set. A complete and full-filling breakfast, perfect to keep your day going and a must-have breakfast for the super hungry diners too!
Bar Lounge
Not forgetting the drinks, you can choose to have the following beverages while dining at Porto Bello. They have an in house barista by the name of Kok Foo, a young chap busy preparing and pulling the shots, serving a wide selection of coffee, tea, juices and other beverages.
