Located at Level 1 ~ Resort Hotel, your first step into Resort Seafood welcomes you into a delightful spacious and comfortable atmosphere, a total relief from the hustle and bustle of the busy outside world in the city.

Resort Seafood's Chef Lai Kok Yeow and his kitchen team takes the hotpot experience to a new level, with five must-try gourmet broths as well as meat and seafood platters as the perfect accompaniment.  

From dumplings, fish balls, meatballs to a variety of soups, everything is freshly made in the kitchen everyday to ensure that diners receive only the best and freshest food. In this restaurant, diners have a choice of two of their favourite soups from a wide range of flavours.

 Herbal Chicken Soup

The essence of any good steamboat comes from the type of broth selected. From its highly recommended Resort Fish Head Soup and Tom yam Soup, to various others such as Herbal Chicken Soup, Spicy Soup to Chicken Soup. So if you are adventurous, try their signature broth of Fish Head Soup. Tom yam Soup is for those who prefer a tangy and spicy twist whereby Herbal Chicken Soup and Chicken Soup are for diners who enjoy something traditional and subtle.

Fish Head Soup is brewed for hours to obtain a clear and rich with mild fishy flavour while Chicken Soup is prepared from premium fowl for the best ever nourishing chicken soup, good for body and soul!  

No steamboat meal is complete without the right sauce, and Resort Seafood offers that, and more. Select your choices of no less than 20 different sauces, all freshly prepared daily from the huge variety such as teochew sauce, prawn sauce, red chilli sauce, red chilli oil, chilli sambal, black pepper sauce, Thai sauce and so forth. Diners are encourage to mix and match to come up with their own personal concoction, an original masterpiece dipping sauce to enhance the taste of the overall steamboat food items.  

We were treated to a Steamboat Set for 8 persons priced at RM 456 (Member) and RM 502 (Non-Member). With 17 types of delicious morsels ranging from 4 types of mushrooms and fish, meat, vegetable balls, bean curd rolls, 3 choices of seafood, 2 types of meat, vegetable, egg, tofu and last but not least, the King's noodles.

Resort Seafood's desserts complete a hearty meal and its recommendation of Steamboat Ice cream with Fresh Strawberries, prepared daily, is a must-try. Its combination of chilling fresh strawberries, grapes, sweet lychees and jack fruits tastes heavenly with the rich dark chocolate ice cream.
Steamboat That Warms The Heart

All in all, Resort Seafood offers quality and value-for-money dining steamboat meal at Resorts World Genting in the highlands. The seafood was fresh, especially the prawns and fish fillets, and went well with the soup. Other dishes such as Fu Chew fish balls and Chicken Supreme Slices, was also unique in taste.
 
One can choose set steamboat menus, from RM 108 nett to RM 638 nett to suit one's budget with two to eight paxs and member to non-members pricing and even opt a la carte dining to whet your appetite. Take your pick from the ala carte menu consisting of premium imported catch of Canadian Geoduck, Australian Snow crabs, Alaskan crabs and Boston lobster to tempt your taste buds with its ocean delights.
