I still remember when the First World Hotel was launched, back in 2000. Back then, the hotel was known to be one of the largest with many thousands of room. Over the years, my family and I have stayed in the hotel a couple of times.

15 years later, First World Hotel built an extension to their already large hotel adding 412 rooms now and a further 874 rooms is targeted to be opened. That would bring the total number of rooms to a whooping 7,351 making it the Largest Hotel in the World Now!

The additional rooms are located at the First World Tower 2 Annexe which had undergone planning and renovations for about one­ and a ­half year of planning and at a cost of RM300 million, there’s a new and trendy chic part of the hotel. My family and I had the privilege to experience a one night sleepover at these new rooms.

Lively & Vibrant Room in Colour & Design 

Simplicity with elegance greet guests upon entrance to their rooms. The new annex makes better use of space with design to be functional but yet chic, comes in lively and vibrant splashes of colour and design to please its guests. These rooms come with either two single beds or a double, and an open hanging cupboard to provide storage space. 

New Design with Separate Toilet & Bath

The room does have a trendy feel to it, with its young vibrant colours scheme. Frosted lime green glass walls act as dividers between the toilet, shower and sink. On top of it, there is the ease of convenience of having separated toilet and bathroom which meant that as one person showers, another person can use the toilet. This is perfect for sharing of rooms, even for couples. :p

Good Feature of USB Port Plug Charger

The size of the new XYZ Deluxe rooms are pretty similar to the rooms of the older design, in terms of size. But in terms of functionality, the rooms are better equipped with modern day necessities. The most notable function would be the availability of the USB port plug charger.

Refreshment On-The-House

For refreshments, the usual kettle with tea and coffee-making facilities awaits on a spacious bench top. Other features that ensure convenience and comfort include a flat-screen television with in-house and local channels, telephone, mini fridge and a large laptop-sized in-room safe.

All in all, I enjoyed my night stay in the new Annexe Tower of First World Hotel. They have once again succeeded in providing their guests with comfortable, chic and affordable rooms!

Welfies At The Worlds Club Room

Besides that, we also had the opportunity to visit the Worlds Club room. The World Club room is spacious and luxurious, equipped with two beds which meant for groups of four paxs. Here are some pictures of the World Club room.
