FollowMeToEatLa ~ Auntie Lilly was invited over to Simplyd Grand Launch Party at Avenue K Rooftop for some good food and great company. We were treated to an amazing array of Simplyd food with small bites of their salad, pasta, burgers, cakes, drinks and many more.

Guests were invited to have a snap or two of the Polaroid shots at the booth. It was fun and cute as I choose to take a pic with a sign board stating "I am here for the Food" while my blogger hubby, Uncle Hong chose "I am Tasty"!

Delicious' CEO ~ Mr Steve Allen
During the launch, we were told that Simplyd was born out of an idea from Delicious' CEO, Steve Allen and his love for Malaysia and its amazing array of local delicacies. With a simple menu comprising of mix-n-match Pastas, Burgers and Cakes, it lets the crew concentrate on serving a new type of fast food to the Malaysia market. With fresh and unprocessed ingredients unlike those associated with fast food, Simplyd is indeed simple, unfussy, fast, fresh, great in value but first and foremost tasty.

They were 4 stations available for the guests to get a taste and enjoy Simplyd fare of pastas, burgers as well as desserts of cakes. We started with a light and refreshing appetiser of salad before moving on to the small bites of the mini burgers and chicken skewers.

Simplyd's concept is easy. To serve fresh, tasty food in a fun environment with simple but great service! The design concept is based on our Malaysian culture of eating western food and a style of service currently missing in Malaysia.
Besides, their CEO, Steve Allen personally trained all Simply d staff to be chefs, as well as waiters, baristas and personalities. This is where Simplyd stands out from the rest. In everything it does, it is done following a simple mantra: Fun, Fresh & Tasty.

Top in my list of signatures dishes at Simply d are the Salted Egg Pumpkin fusilli, Classic Beef Burger and Coconut Pandan cake. Remember as there is no need for frills at Simplyd where food and drinks are served in colourful melamine bowls and plates, because food is about food, not what it is served on.
So well, if you are searching for some real decent and affordable meal, do drop by at Simplyd at the bustling Nu Sentral Mall, The Curve or Avenue K for some fun, fresh and tasty "fast food" !
